I had always wanted to build my own home exactly the way I envisioned it, and after finding the perfect lot my real estate agent recommended Young & Young Architects. After our early designs, we interviewed builders, and Derocher came highly recommended by a very discriminating family member who had used them before. When Derocher submitted their proposal, the lead architect said he had never seen such a precise and detailed bid and was extremely impressed. The project was long and the home grew substantially, but throughout the process Derocher handled changes from me, my designer, and my architect with ease. Bill and Frank were always available for questions or meetings and made the many unexpected parts of building far less stressful. To this day, Derocher feels like part of the family—they manage ongoing maintenance, coordinate subcontractors, and even act as caretakers when I’m away. I’m very pleased with my choice and would have no hesitation using Derocher again when I build dream home #2.
