The Derocher Difference
We do things a little differently at Derocher. Not only is the owner and key management personnel present during your initial consultations, but also every step along the way. Bill prides himself in being truly involved throughout the construction process, not simply managing the business. He visits his sites every week and speaks with the trades on the ground; he is familiar with every detail of your home from start to finish. In addition, you will receive a specific project manager involved in the daily progression of your project. Your project manager visits the site daily, keeps track of schedules and budgets, and familiarizes themselves with the specific details of your custom build. Derocher, Inc.’s top managers have been with us for 25, 14, and 12 years, respectively, allowing you peace of mind knowing we will construct your home with more care, attention to detail, and integrity than anywhere else.
Our Story
Our story begins over two decades ago when third-generation home builder Bill Derocher set out to create a company dedicated to quality and craftsmanship. Before Derocher, Inc., Bill owned his own rough and trim carpentry business at age 23 and employed over 30 men. Bill became tired of the cookie-cutter style of building that plagues so much of the home market and set his mind on creating something of honor and dedication; this was the birth of Custom Homes by Derocher, Inc., where Bill dedicated his efforts to constructing only quality, one-of-a-kind homes and projects. Today, Derocher, Inc. still builds unique, exciting custom homes with those same principles in mind.
